эк. тр. минимальные трудовые стандарты (наиболее важные из более чем 170 трудовых стандартов, разработанных Международной организаций труда: свобода ассоциации, права на ассоциацию и коллективные переговоры, запрет на принудительный труд, ограничение на использование детского труда, гарантии приемлемых условий труда; несоблюдение минимальных трудовых стандартов является причиной более низких издержек на производство экспортных товаров в развивающихся странах, что дает им конкурентное преимущество перед развитыми странами; США и ряд других развитых стран настаивают на введении унифицированных требований к минимальным трудовым стандартом, которые должны соблюдаться всеми членами ВТО; несоблюдение этих стандартов должно вести к введению торговых санкций; попытки США включить вопрос о минимальных трудовых стандартах в повестки дня многосторонних торговых переговоров пока не были успешными)
